PINECREST HOME SELLS FOR $3 MILLION

Eric Jason Abrahams and his wife, Deborah, have paid $3.3 million, or $358 per square foot, for a 9,225-square-foot, six-bedroom, 7 ½-bathroom home at 6655 SW 106th St. in Pinecrest. Selling the property was Ponce Davis Estate, whose president is Francisco Diaz.

 

The property, built in 2007, has a gated entry. Features include volume ceilings, marble and wood floors, elevator, fireplace, family room, media room plus office/den. There is a three-car garage, covered patio with built-in barbecue, pool and Jacuzzi spa. Taxes for 2007 were $20,589 based on a land-only assessment. The home was listed by Saddy Delgado of Avatar Real Estate Services and sold by Suzanne Feanny of Esslinger Wooten Maxwell.

Real-estate developer R. Donahue Peebles has bought a new family residence in Coral Gables for $5.4 million. Holdings of Peebles's company, Peebles Atlantic Development, include the Royal Palm Crowne Plaza Resort and the Bath Club luxury condominium project, both in Miami Beach. (Peebles became the Bath Club's first black member in 1996, and later bought the place.) His new home on Old Cutler Road, a mansion of just under 16,000 square feet, sits on three acres of land. Unlike his previous, smaller residence, it has a tennis court and a full-size basketball court.

 

The seller was Juan Luis Gorrin Ramos, a banker from Venezuela. Saddy Delgado of Avatar Real Estate Services in Miami represented Peebles in the sale.
